Besides huge market square next to central station, Riga offers many possibilities for shoppers.
We have big shopping centers like Alfa, Azur, Domina, GC, Mols, Origo, Spice, Riga Plaza     and Galleria Riga
Origo is located in central railway station and GC in old town. Galleria Riga in center area close to
Latvija hotel, other ones are outside of center.

FASHION
It's possible to find fashion from edge to another and something for everyone. Here are just some
examples for start shopping tour. We have several good outlet shops in center. Podium outlet close
to Freedom Monument, and also in Merkela Street close to Origo you can find some good shops.

Podium is located little bit outside of center but easy to find using public transport. 201 Brivibas street

Sweets. Laima is a local brand of sweets and cookies. Laima shops are around the town.
Riga Black Balzams. Originally as an elixir. Consisting over 20 herbal ingredients.
Honey. Honey for Latvians is important like wine for French. (medus = honey)
Antique. Old town and center area you can find several good shops.
Medieval Shop. Torna iela 4. Medieval styled things.

Lido recreation center in Krasta iela outside of center. "MUST" sight for Riga-visitors.
       Lido chain has many very cosy restaurants around town. Also in center area.

    Here are just few examples of restaurants in center. You can find a lot more from fast food to
    gourmet restaurants all around the town. In old town there are a plenty of pubs and cafe's.
    Old town is certainly not the cheapest area for dining or drinking but there You car face the
    feeling of history as well as busy tourist life and everything is very close around.

    Easy way to find out many interesting small special shops is to take a walk along the street
    Marijas/Chaka away from center and turn left to Matisa iela. Again left to K.Barona iela and
    walk back to center.
